Benfleet and District Historical Society
The Society was started in 1955 and since then has enjoyed a
successful series of regular monthly meetings (usually during the winter
months) covering historical matters both local and national.
During the summer months our Outings Secretary arranges visits for members to
local historical sites and buildings. These can be booked in advance at the
AGM. If trips are fully booked we hold a Waiting List to fill spaces that may
arise during the year.
Dutch Cottage Opening dates for 2026
Sundays 10th May until 20th September, and Wednesdays 3rd June until 26th August.
Sunday 14th June We welcome back Darren Jones for an entertaining afternoon of music.
